After School Programs

All of the program topics can be adapted for any age level and are based upon the State of New Jersey Core Curriculum Requirements for science. Use an outreach program to introduce, reinforce or culminate your classroom curriculum.

The programs are interactive and the students may have the opportunity to touch some of the animals when applicable, therefore, the maximum number of students per presentation is 60. Should you have a larger group, please schedule an additional program. Two or more consecutive programs will be offered at a discounted rate.

All programs are about 60 minutes in length. Preschool and Kindergarten classes may benefit from two 30 minute programs back to back by dividing into groups. Please schedule the time you would like for the program to begin, as set-up will only take a few minutes.

Please schedule your program at least two weeks in advance.

Please provide a 6 ft table for the animal carriers.

Outdoor programs: Due to the needs of some of the animals, the temperature range must fall between 72-80 degrees for the presentation to occur outside. A back-up indoor location for inclement weather is required.
